Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Alliance of Niles Township is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to advocate for and coordinate comprehensive community-based supports for young children and their caregivers that promote equity and honor strengths and diversity. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience with state and local grant management and a strong background in financial planning, leadership, and risk management.

Duties:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the comprehensive fiscal health of the organization

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

- Conduct regular financial reviews to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends

- Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting revenue and expenses, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations

- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance on business decisions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA certification preferred

- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role

- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices

- Knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial reporting

- Experience in public accounting or auditing is highly desirable

- Proficient in using financial software systems and MS Office Suite

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

- Exceptional communication skills to effectively present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.
